Our clients say
With close to 20 years in Talent Acquisition I am pleased to say that Proco Commodities are exactly what their name describes them as, they are true partners. They have a keen understanding of our business and also the markets that we represent globally. Their sense of urgency and attention to detail is exceptional. Their commitment to their candidates and vendors is refreshing. We are very encouraged especially as we move into 2017.

Laura was wonderful to work with and made the entire recruitment process much easier and less stressful. What stood out to me about Laura, compared to other recruiters, was her genuine caring for the candidate's well being. She did a great job of advising and mediating between both sides from initial interest to well after signing the acceptance papers. I would highly recommend Laura and would certainly work with her again.

From the moment Laura contacted me about my current position, she provided me with many ways to approach her either via text or email or phone - I appreciate her work in maintaining a fluid communication throughout the entire process. I valued her help in providing me with all the information regarding the interview and keeping me posted with any feedback from Gunvor, from the first interview through the offer and the final decision to accept.
The US oil market had a strong year in 2016, on the back of a record-breaking 2015 for trading houses, with the first crude exports leaving for Europe in 40 years and America finally becoming a major exporter.
In the last 18 months, nearly all the top tier banks in New York have lost at least a few of their senior commodity traders, as the flood of talent out of the major financial institutions continues unabated.
As an American with German heritage, I’ve always wanted to work in Europe, and at the start of September I made the leap and relocated from our New York office to London. Both my parents are German, and moved to the States when I was born, so I have dual citizenship and have spent many family vacations on this side of the Atlantic. Now I’m here in a different capacity.
